Sales Development Representative

Great data only wins when someone can show a prospect exactly why it matters. This role closes that loop.
The Role
Sales Development Representative sits at the front line of Firmable's outbound growth engine. You will own the top of the funnel: identifying the right prospects, opening conversations cold, and booking high-quality meetings that convert into pipeline for our Account Executives.
This is not a script-reader role. You'll think commercially about who to target and why, run your own research on accounts and personas, and tailor every outreach to land. You'll work cross-functionally with marketing on sequences, with AEs on handover quality, and feed market signal back into leadership.
Reporting to the SDR Team Lead.
~75% active prospecting and outreach. ~25% research, collaboration, and feedback into the GTM motion.
What You'll Own
Outbound pipeline generation: cold calling, email, and multi-channel outreach to introduce prospects to Firmable and book qualified demos for the AE team
Lead management: responding promptly to inbound interest, qualifying fit, and moving prospects through to opportunity at pace
Prospect discovery: engaging meaningfully with prospects to understand their needs and positioning Firmable's value where it actually lands
CRM hygiene: keeping HubSpot accurate and current across every interaction so the rest of the GTM team can operate from clean data
Cross-functional collaboration: partnering with marketing on templates, sequences, and conversion strategy; working with AEs on smooth handover; and feeding competitor, customer, and product insight back to the relevant teams
Commercial signal: surfacing trends, objections, and opportunities to leadership so we sharpen the GTM motion continuously
What We're Looking For
Must Haves
1+ years in a sales-focused role, ideally fast-paced B2B SaaS
Strong commercial instincts and time management
Self-driven, curious, and a natural problem solver, you don't need to be told what to try next
You live and breathe AI tools. You use AI for research, drafting, prospect intelligence, and workflow automation as your default way of working, not a productivity experiment.
Highly Valued
Experience with sales prospecting and database tools - Firmable, ZoomInfo, Lusha, Apollo, or similar
Working knowledge of HubSpot or comparable CRM
Prior experience selling into ANZ B2B markets
Startup or scaleup background where you've had to build the playbook, not inherit it
